Common Questions

I normally participate in a neighborhood pickup.  Can I change to home delivery for just one shipment?

Sure, go to the account menu to change your default location.  You can change locations as often as necessary.

When will my order be delivered?

We ship orders on a weekly basis and you will be given a delivery date prior to confirming your order.  Orders typically arrive on Wednesdays throughout our delivery area, but we may alter dates if weather conditions create delivery challenges.

What if I'm not home?

No problem.  Fedex will leave your order at the front door in an insulated box.  Once you do arrive home we recommend you unpack your items as soon as you are able.

How should I expect my order to arrive?

Ingredients are carefully packaged in a refrigerated box so food stays fresh even if you’re not home when we deliver.  Any freshly thawed items can either be refrigerated or refrozen for later use.

What are the shipping costs?

All orders for home delivery incur a $14.99 fee to cover insulation, gel packs, and packaging, plus an additional 50¢/lb. shipping fee.

What are the minimum order sizes?

We don't have any minimum order size.

Who will deliver my order?

Fedex Home Delivery will deliver your order.

When will my card be charged?

Because many items are charged by the pound we will not know your exact total until order is packed at which time your card will be charged.

Can I recycle my packaging?

We are not able to accommodate package returns at this time, unless you can meet us at one of our neighborhood delivery locations to return materials.  If you wish to ship the packing material back to us, we would gladly accept it, but the tight shipping cost margins mean that we can't provide free return shipping.

Ordering Policies

Order totals are estimated

Since many items are priced by the pound, your final total may be a little more or less than your order's initial estimated total. Once finalized, your total will be charged to your credit card on file and your receipt will be emailed.

Payment is required before delivery

We accept all major credit/debit cards as our sole payment method. At the time of placing your first order you will be prompted to add a credit card to your account. Once finalized, your order's total will be charged to your card on file and your receipt will be emailed.

Short stock items

Please understand that Wrong Direction Farm is a small farm not a large warehouse. If an item becomes unavailable your final total as well as any applicable delivery fees will be reduced.
